Designed and painted this piece with @katie__batten over the past several months, she would work on her iPad and pass textures and shapes over to me, and I would pull them into Illustrator and morph them around the composition ❤️ This piece lives pretty close to our hearts as this is indeed our wedding venue too!! 👰🏻🤵🏻Cari and Owen, who own and operate @octagon_barn_weddings were amazing through the whole process here. Weather was super unpredictable, rained out on the first day, 40mph winds the next, 80 degrees the day after that, followed by a high of 47 then 45, so coming back into a warm house with amazing home cooked meals from Cari was NEXT LEVEL awesome. Cannot wait to get back here for our upcoming wedding, and feeling super honored to have been able to create a piece that will live with them on their property for many many years to come
